Timberline Judo & Jiu-Jitsu Club is a Member Club of USA Judo, the National Governing Body for the Olympic sport of Judo in the U.S., the Colorado Judo League as well as the US Judo Federation. Our coaches are all former world and Olympic class competitors who are certified USA Judo Coaches.
|
Our coaches have 40+ years of experience and have successfully taught at all levels of the sport--from recreational youth, to junior and senior elite athletes. They have traveled all over the U.S. and the world to learn from, and practice with the best coaches and competitors in the sport.
The curriculum we teach is a direct result of our extensive competition and training experiences, and is designed to help students learn quickly and develop effective skills that can be used in real world situations.
We help students develop confidence, self-reliance, and physical fitness. We offer an environment that is fun and one of high expectation. We encourage parent and family involvement. We routinely plan fun off-the-mat group outings and community service activities to encourage teamwork and to provide a way for students to “give back” to the community
Whether you are looking for a rewarding recreational activity to participate in, desire to earn your black belt, or are interested in competition, we can help.
